DDB Prague's
management

In the dynamic world of marketing, our agency’s skilled and dedicated management is the heart of our day-to-day operations. Industry veterans, thought leaders, and strategy architects stand as a testament to the agency’s values – our Power to Move and our Four Freedoms.

They lead their teams with commitment to brilliance and innovation, and their voices resonate throughout the whole agency. Their expertise ties our strategic goals with creative executions and encourages their teams to deliver results that exceed expectations.

Jan Faflík
Chief Executive Officer

I remember the advertising days, when filming a TV spot or taking pictures of an advertisement ended with the words “I think we have it”. A lot has changed since then, mainly because of technological innovations, yet the decisive factor is still the same – if you want to make the customers respond, remember, or buy something, you must be able to make them laugh, think or cry. Be interesting rather than dull and make people feel your brand.

My job at DDB is to navigate our ship full of talented, creative people with diverse abilities so that we always bring our clients solutions that are proven to positively impact and transform their business. By constantly nurturing a creative environment where people have the freedom to fail, freedom from fear, freedom to be and freedom from chaos.

Therefore, I believe we at DDB Prague have the Power to Move anything, whatever the challenge is.

Jan Hořický
Chief Finance Officer

I navigate the financial landscapes, ensuring stability and strategic foresight. My finance and data skills were honed at Škoda Auto and banking, and I manage anything analytical from controlling through data science to M&A deals.

When not crunching numbers or learning about newest tech, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and mountain biking.

Soňa Lacinová
Head of Operations

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been passionate about organising things. I started with sorting hundreds of post mails for my father’s company when I was 7. I further developed my skills in marketing and PR departments of several companies and also as an event and marketing manager in the biggest congress hotel in Czech Republic.

I became a part of the DDB Prague family in 2017 and I’ve been running the agency’s operations ever since. My role involves creative capacities planning, agency processes, and HR management. I take pride in my human approach and ability to resolve conflicts gracefully. DDB has been a life-changing experience and a dream come true for me.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and during the weekends you find me in football stadiums supporting my beloved Slavia Prague.

Rosťislav Novák
Business Director

When I started in advertising, I thought I would go directly to the production department, because I always loved movies and how they’re made. As a young Account Executive, I found out that I am naturally good at keeping things in order, meeting deadlines, and understanding that people have different POVs on the same thing. Since then, I have been learning how to get as close to perfection as possible.

So, I made my portfolio very diverse in order to understand different industries. For example, beer brands (Heineken, Molson Coors), retail (Albert, Rossmann, Grand Optical), banks (KB, mBank), automotive (Volkswagen commercial vehicles), or petroleum (Shell).

Now I pass my knowledge on to my account team with maximum openness and I lead by example to promote the ways I consider the best.

My motto is “Hard work beats talent”

Radek Mojžíš
Creative Director

I’m a creative director and copywriter who likes things to make sense. Whether it’s an idea, a campaign, or a single line of copy. Over the years, I’ve worked with both big international brands and local favorites. Alongside agency work, I’ve lectured on creative communication and enjoy getting involved in cultural and nonprofit projects.

Iva Nitkulinec
Head of Art

I’ve always dreamt of working in advertising, but it took me almost 6 years to find the courage to send my portfolio. I started as a web designer 13 years ago and worked on a few graphic designer positions in marketing departments. Once I mastered how to make the logo bigger, I found the courage to google what “key visual” means and started working as art director in an advertising agency.

Shortly after I developed communication and visual concepts for ŠKODA AUTO, helped with the reshift of Budějovický Budvar brand and really enjoyed creating IKEA advertising for this market.

My love for craft and obsessions with every pixel led me into the Head of Art position while working on Christmas campaign for Kofola.

And now I am where I always wanted to be, working as a Creative Director with talented people and ambitious clients.

Alexander Doktor
Head of Digital & Social

I started my marketing part of the career in 2010 as a digital project manager in London-based advertising agency GHMC. Since then I spent 5 years in marketing agencies and 10 years in brand teams. My role was changing over time however I was always part of a digital marketing with main focus on social media.

Clients I used to work with: Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Granini, EkoKom, KB and others. On the brand side, I was part of global marketing teams of ŠKODA Auto and Bata.

Ondřej Martinec
Head of Production

With more than 20 years of expertise in creating advertising films, I offer a distinctive understanding of the production process from various viewpoints. I’ve been serving as the head of production at DDB Prague since 2016. In addition to this role, I also lead our in-house post-production studio.

I can seamlessly coordinate and provide guidance at every stage of the production journey, from the initial creative brief to the delivery of assets.

Tomáš Mondschein
Head of DTP

I have been in the advertising industry for over 23 years, mainly in production and DTP. I enjoy watching how the demand for production work has changed a lot during that time.

Right now, I like to play with the possibilities of applying 3D technologies and using AI as a tool enabling the dynamic flow of orders.

In my spare time, I keep my head high above the clouds. Next time you see an airplane overhead, feel free to wave, maybe it’s me and I’d love to wave back at you.

Maroš Gonda
Head of Strategy

Hey, I’m Maroš. I lead strategy at DDB.about95.

I started in finance and left pretty quickly. The numbers were there, but the meaning wasn’t. What stayed with me, though, was the habit of looking underneath and trying to understand what actually drives them.

That’s what I do now: I look for the human truth behind the data and figure out what to do with it. You’ll often hear me ask, “What are we actually solving for?” Yes, I’m a bit of a problem geek, and that’s the point of what we do here: solve real problems in a way that truly matters to people, without unnecessary layers and with emotional value.

Because only if people feel something will they do something.
